This is a reply I gave to a religious idiot ranting on about the new testament, Jesus and sin on another forum so I though I would record it here for the future:

If you read the new testament objectively (I have)  you will conclude that it is a story about a magic, amphibious zombie from the late Bronze Age. It is a fairy tale and Jesus is nothing more than a fairy tale character. The story has him achieving stunts that were and still are impossible. As for god - it exists only in your head not out here in the real world. We would have more patience with deluded people like yourself if your imaginary god, as described in your bible, was not such a genocidal, egocentric deviant, full of malice and contradictions. If you worship this vile model, even though it is imaginary, what does that make you?
