You cannot get there from here.

I was recently asked by a christian if I could give them a lift to Gatwick Airport. Easy, I thought. As it is only about 30 miles away there would be plenty of time to be there and back in an afternoon. But what if my friend then said I needed first to collect him from Jupiter where he had been sent as a child. The problem of getting him back from Jupiter would prevent me from carrying out the simple task of taking him to nearby Gatwick.

Similarly the minds of most believers have been taken to a fairy tale place in their early childhood. Their whole worldview is wrong and etched into their susceptible brains. This would require years of unlearning and exposure to the real world before they could begin to understand the evidence for atheism.
Now I tell them that I can explain why we know there are no gods but it would take more than the few minutes to present the evidence. It took me 50 years of studying the sciences and a great deal of time and thought to realise the full implications.
